y'all who are shocked and outraged, or find it unlikely, that the police/dhs/other authorities would beat the shit out of someone for not kissing their ass hard enough and then arrest them for resisting? srsly? I mean, I know it doesn't usually happen to white canadian middle class guys, but that is the only part that is not business as usual in this shit.

Like invisionary said, shocked and outraged, but not at all surprised. Border Patrol agents are, like TSA agents, way overassured of their importance in preventing the next 9/11. Everyone is a terrorist until they prove that they're not, even people exiting the damn country. Never mind that Border Patrol has never caught anyone of any importance anywhere, ever.
