Yeah, we saw a preview for this when we saw Whip It and I nearly spit out my soda. "KSTEW IS JOAN JETT? FOR SERIOUS?" And then they threw in Dakota Fanning, JUST FOR GOOD MEASURE. It's a Twilight reunion up in here!
But IDK, the preview made it look like it could be pretty good. And KStew does seem to have more than one facial expression in it, at least.
Cherie Currie, actually. Although her as Lita Ford would be so freakin hilarious.
But ok, remember how I said that the previews made it looks kinda cool? The thing I forgot about is that apparently the director has been telling interviewers that there's a make-out scene between KStew and Fanning, and the directors all "THIS WILL BLOW MINDS YOU HAVE NO IDEA YOU GUYS" and I'm kinda like :/
I know I'm like the only person in this post or on maevele's flist who likes KStew, but having seen her in movies other than Twilight I don't necessarily see this as being disastrous.
Joan has some surprise eyebrows going on there, did she have work done?
Also, if I were involved with the Twilight franchise in any way I would pretty much be on drugs all the time, so if KStew is stoned I say more power to her.
