maeveleit's been art experience week by accident. this weekend, pobo asked if we could go to the art museum soon. So monday we went downtown to the art center at the overture, with a picnic to eat on the roof garden, and the art center is closed on mondays. so we had lunch in the overture lobby, and explored the Overture building on it's own merits. they have three small art galleries in the main bldg, so we still got to see a good dozen paintings, and some sweet mosiacs. Pobo got restless, so it was probably best that we didn't attempt the whole art museum. and the overture building is just fun, with the little in the round space and nifty stuff to play in.
Then last night after we got done at the playground with my mom, we stopped to see how the birds were doing.
and probably spent a half hour exploring them, and the smaller birds that were lined up along the bike path. smaller as in 9 feet tall.
Wze get home and I showed the kids some more of evermore's work online, and now we're planning a field trip out to see his forevertron and the rest of the stuff at his yard. I don't know who is more excited, the kids or z and I.
