computer broke again, in a new and exciting way. and I have no time to fix it, because frantically trying to find a fuckdamn apartment and trying to get my place clean enough to show like real soon, and having to go ouot of town for Z family stuff this weekend, fml. and I think it's really BROKEN this time, not just some loose wire and broken plastic, so it's way beyond my level of taking shit apart. I'm using HQ's machine, but that means he I and pobo are all sharing his machine, which is teh suck.

and seriously, I am so fucking crushed about not getting this place, not that it's the best place in town or some such shit, I'm just wrecked about it straight up being about me being at home with the kids. like, I went through and thought about the compromises we were going to have to make for me to stay at home, even when I could still work, and I was good with all those compromises and consequences of having me home, but I didn't fucking foresee it being a detriment to getting a place other than my lack of income.

I'd be tempted to call or write the local paper. Discriminating against SAHMs has the potential to appeal to Right and Left audiences.
