I am going to learn the goddamn guitar like to GTA by fall out boy no matter what my fucking wrists say. It's all chords that don't stretch my hand too far, and I AM SO SICK OF NOT BEING ABLE TO ACCOMPANY MYSELF, FUCK. I could start fucking around on piano again, just to do chords and shit might not hurt like a fuck. I am announcing this publicly so I can't just be like "OW fuck this" and quit. And since I can't listen to music as many hours per day as I need to, I can get that fix in a more condensed form if I'm making the music.
ETA: Kid sized guitars for the win. I gave it a shot on pobo's, and I can do it. The time it took to tune the guitar, relearn my four chords, and run through the song twice, and my hand does hurt, but not badly. I think with the half sized or whatever it is I can reach all the fingerings without having to have my hand in the positions that hurt it, I just have to adjust. It's fucking hysterical to feel like my fingers are too big for a guitar's strings. I like the mini. Z didn't really think about my hands when he scored my guitar, it's neck is like twice as thick as the baby squier. It's the size i'd want if I wanted my own bass again.
