he and I are still fighting about money, and about how it's my fault we're so financially screwed that he can't afford to pay me what he said he would, because when he asked if he could afford stuff I let him, and how he doesn't caaaaare, I can take all his money, do whatever I want, and it'd be fair if I took what I said I'd take, but it's all come out of these last two checks to cover the past two months and somehow him not being able to pay me before now ties in to me not telling him how broke we were and letting him spend money?

He's all, "you said you had this other money" and I'm like "Um, yeah, that was most of july's fucking rent and the electric bill, which you didn't pay" and he's like "but of course I couldn't pay you, I had to get a place" and I'm like "yeah, I get that, that's why I didn't ask you for a fucking cent in july, but I still needed that money, which is why you are paying me so goddamn much in august"

I finally got him to see that I would rather he short me than listen to him whine about not having money to change his fucking oil, because if I am short, I just need to find money, if he is short because of me, I need to watch my ass for when he decides it's my fault. So, now I am short, but still have enough to pay the rent, and he has breathing room so money doesn't have to stress him out any worse. Until next month, when he's still going to have to pay his rent, and hopefully come up with his share of mine. I expect I will be paying september halfway through the goddamn month too. I'm going to re-link the fucking donate button on tumblr and see what I can do. Instead of paying rent here with the donations last time, I should have used that money as security on a new, cheaper place and found a subletter for here.
