I may have mentioned that the assholes across the street aen't fit to own their dog, and let the little guy get out all the fucking time? Well, yesterday the dog finally got hit by a car, while they weren't even fucking home.and I was the only grownup out back by the big road when a woman came up to tell me an animal had been hit. He got up and ran off while I was pounding on his people's door, and then my other neighbor and the local kids found him, and we took him to the emergency vet. I need to go talk to the assholes and see if the dog is okay.

Damn. It's OK to be the grownup when it's time for sex and dancing and boozing, but it totally stinks to be the grownup in this situation. So glad you were able to help, so sad it was necessary.
