Yeah, why didn't anyone tell me about Saul Williams' new album? I found out because of some dumbshit on debunkingwhite, of all places. (yeah, you go ahead and debunk Saul, sweetheart, wtf?) So I grabbed it off itunes, and holy fucking shit.

I've been waiting for this my entire adult musical life. Trent producing Saul. It has everything I loved about NIN, but without the content being all Trent's self indulgent emo crap. And everything I love about Saul Williams, but even more so. And a little of all sorts of shit that was all formative and revolutionary to me, like I hear some FNM, some PF, some PE, some some tool. I keep thinking of how I felt when I discovered jane's or fnm or nin, or Skunk Anansie, or tool even just in the whole "never heard anything like THIS that resonates with me" and holy fuck that U2 cover. asdfghjkjhgfdsdfghjkl;lkj. It's hard, it's raw, it's intelligent,, it's gorgeous, it's angry, it's sexy, it's conscious, brilliant, it's just fucking brutal.

Goosebumps, chills, and damp drawers. I only feel like this about an album every decade or so. It's like all the masculine elements of my musical tastes jammed into one album.

holy fucking fuckity fuck. After "Amethyst Rock Star" I didn't think he could kick my ass any harder.

I'm no longer talking to any of you til you go dl this album. it's 5 bucks, dude.
