so, some of you may know he got all grumpypants when i said I was going out for an hour and stayed out for like 3 hours, right? tonight,he called to say he was stopping in for a beer with the guys after work. at like 6. it turned out one of his guys from work is an old old friend of my family and mine (which he should expect given he works on my old side of town), figured out who Z is married to, and they got to bonding. it is now 11 pm. I'm thinking I should be all grumpypants, just to be fair?

however, he didn't make someone else answer his phone.

I'm starting to grumpypants up over it as it gets closer to midnight. Especially since apparently i have to do the nagging wife thing to get his new friend/my childhood friend to let him go home, or some such shit, and I'd rather not come off as the nagging wife who makes her man come home early to someone I used to be like family with and haven't seen in nigh 20 years.

If he had said he was gonna go get fucked up and stay out all night, I've said 'go on with yr bad self.'
