I'm still a little worried, though, because sometimes suicidal people seem to be in good spirits right before they make an attempt -- because they've decided to go ahead with it and feel relaxed and at peace. Did she tell you for a fact that she's not contemplating suicide and/or isn't about to carry out a plan?
sighs...I feel really uncomfortable discussing Kynn's mental status openly here in her stead.
Can we just say that she and I are talking, and let it go at that?
I think speaking with her directly is the way to go, since that gives her the power to decide who knows what.

What I wrote came across really poorly there :/. I'm really sorry. (I'm under a lot of stress right now and having suicidal thoughts myself, and not thinking clearly). I hadn't seen Kynn post at all on 8/5, and didn't realize that you were in contact with her consistently -- I thought you'd only contacted her once. Since I've lost a brace of friends and family to suicide (including my dad, who was feeling fine and happy right before he did it), I didn't know if you knew this could be a symptom.
So what I should have written instead was:
"This is good news, but I'm still concerned because people who are suicidal often seem to get better right before they make an attempt."
It's totally Kynn's call whether she wants to say anything about her health status, and I would never ask you or anyone else to speak for her. It totally seemed like I was asking that, though. Sorry about that, Kynn and Voz and Maevele.
