now the bb thinks she would really like her own computer. she steals mine a lot. but she doesn't want a laptop.

so we're probably gonna revamp the mac that everything is stored on and move it to the living room, I guess.

she's less likely to break that than another eee. but its big and awkward. I wish I had a decent spare imac laying around.

I have an iMac that needs... something. It's an old one, the "Flower Power" model. If I could figure out what it needs and could source that easily, I'd gladly pass it on, but I'm not a competent diagnostician, and paying someone to do it would likely run more than the computer is worth now. :(

I may have enough imac parts in the basement to knock one together, actually. and the mac we're thinking 0of giving her isn't SO HUGE, I've just gotten used to teeny tiny computers.

If she's wee, maybe a bigger computer will be more... durable for her?
