Jun. 30th, 2010 01:33 pmfuckers.
as of today, when I called to say we have a co-signer, the guy at the property office says actually upon reviewing our application, it's going to be denied no matter what because I have no actual credit score. WHICH IS BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN HOME WITH KIDS WITH NO BILLS IN MY NAME FO LIKE EVER NOW.
but yeah, even with z's boss as a cosigner. Now I get to go behind the management company's back and talk direct to the property owner.

Date: 2010-07-01 05:16 am (UTC)I used to work in the mortgage industry (long long story), and this is something that is just a good idea for the future. Put the electric bill or the heat bill or SOMETHING in your name and your name only. You need to have a record of some sort.
Best case scenario- it doesn't matter in the least. Worst case scenario, the Flu Plague of 2020 results in everyone being hit by a bus- you have a paper trail.
