This Kucinich/Flynt thing

You've heard, right? Larry Flynt and Dennis Kucinich are all up in each other's pocket. BFF for 40 years, fundraisers, yay.
now it looks like when my husband gets home we'll be having a nice fight. I told him this news when he called, Kucinich being his golden boy candidate, and he's like "Oh, well, no surprise, Flynt's been getting all political, if they've been friends THAT long that's gotta be before the porn, I'm sure Kucinich isn't really okay with it, he'll just take the campaign money since Flynt is trying to take down the repubs, and excuse excuse excuse" as my brain filled with a red fog. He finally acknowledged "that's kind effed up" but that was as much as he'll give. Okay, seriously, "good democrats" are not anti-woman. They shouldn't be friends with someone who built their empire on abusing women. I hate arguing politics with the husband. Part of why our relationship works is that we're generally in political agreement, because he isn't usually an apologist for sexist pigs.
