I get done with book group, and oh look, tornado warning yay! and big monsoon storm! So I consider hiding in the basement of the bar til it clears, but decided to try to fight my way home. I get home, with the sirens blaring and the road 8 inches deep at points, and my family is in the basement, pobo all scared, and Z frantically trying to shop vac up the water from around the drums. ffffuuuuuu

Shit, you've got water in? fucking weather. Means my writing a post is delayed until I can plug back into the wall.

not as much in as the other half of our duplex got, about half their basement had standing water. we got less water, but we had a lot of shit down there, since I've been packing for the move already and sticking boxes down there, and the drums and stuff.
